You have about a few days left and some of you might still be awaiting answers to some questions such as whether should you listen to what happened in the earlier slots, what should you do if you know you might not get sleep Saturday night, etc.
Last year I made an audio clip (initially shot as a video) that answered all of these queries, queries that deal specifically with the three days leading up to the test, and all the pending questions.
As on every Friday before the CAT-day, we are doing a stress buster session — Anything But CAT.
We will host five rooms where we will discuss specific non-CAT topics of interest: Cricket & Tennis, Football and other sports, Harry Potter & Fantasy Books, Music Room, Quizzing.
I’ll be handling the Cricket & Tennis room along with Amit Sir and Param Sir (and all of our other stalwarts will also be there in each of the other rooms).
I am looking forward to evening sessions and interacting with all the cricket, tennis, and sports fans among you. We will discuss the Tennis GOAT Debate, MSD, and sports heroes, and answer/discuss all non-CAT things in the Q&A!
All IMS students will receive a link for the same.

Thank you so much, sir! I don’t think I’ve ever heard a voice note for 35 minutes without skipping anything; this was very helpful and insightful.

hi sir, regarding TCS ion centre, Mumbai I had got a computer which had horizontal lines marked with pen in the middle of the screen (someone had scribbled on the computer with a pen ). I informed the invigilator and then realised there 5 other people with the some other issue. We were told to wait until the login of every single person is done ,after which I would be assigned a new computer.
I waited and could not find the invigilator who gave me this instruction. Only 5 mins left to start (not login) the exam when I got up from my seat and requested another invigilator. I was then given a new computer with 3 mins left to the exam.
The important thing is all of this will definitely make you anxious but you have to remember that you did not spend 1-2 years of your life preparing for an exam that would be ruined because of a technical error. Take deep breaths. Stay calm and don’t be rude to the invigilators and don’t pick a fight. All the best everyone

Hi Aditi,
Thanks for sharing this.
You are right that there are things that go wrong in the centre and at times it feels like we are not dealing with a private enterprise.
As you said, the only thing that we can do in most cases is breath deep and stay calm.
